I. Turning Pager ON/OFF & Audible/Silent

When the control switch on the side of the pager is in the UP position, the pager is off and will not receive pages at all.

When the control switch is in the MIDDLE position the pager will receive messages and alert the user when a message arrives by vibrating and by blinking the light on the top/front of the pager.

When the control switch is in the DOWN position, the pager receives messages and alerts the user by beeping and blinking the light.

II. Reading Messages

Pressing the UP ARROW on the front of the pager brings up the OLDEST MESSAGE in memory.

Pressing the DOWN ARROW brings up the MOST RECENT MESSAGE in memory.

After initially pressing one of the above, you may use the UP and DOWN arrows to scroll through your messages.

III. Deleting Messages

To delete a message, recall the message from memory as outlined above.  Once the message is displayed on the screen (or any part of it), press the M button.  A menu is displayed.  Press the DOWN ARROW to choose DELETE, then press the UP ARROW to actually delete the message.  To exit this mode, press the M button.

IV. Time Adjustment

To adjust the 24-hour clock, enter the Menu Mode by pressing the M button.  Press the DOWN ARROW button to select TIME ADJ MODE, then press the UP ARROW to go into time adjustment mode.  Set each field (ie: hour, mins, etc), by pressing the DOWN ARROW.  When that field is set correctly, press the UP ARROW to move to the next field.  When you are finished, press the M button to exit this mode.

V. Battery Replacement

When an icon (very small picture) of a battery laying on its side with a line through it appears in the bottom right corner of the screen, it is time to replace the battery.  Turn the pager over, push the "LOCK" slide towards the top of the pager and slide the battery cover to the right.  Use AAA Alkaline batteries only.
